Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our EP Lab in Jacksonville, FL. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to advanced cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures in a state-of-the-art facility. The RCIS certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire, with support from our dedicated team.

The Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging and procedures, including tests on cardiovascular systems for diagnostic purposes. They may also conduct or assist in electrocardiograms, catherizations, and pulmonary functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging and procedures.
• Assist in electrocardiograms, catherizations, and pulmonary functions.
• Prepare the Cath Lab for accepting cardiac patients.
• Perform technical duties such as scrubbing, hemodynamic monitoring, and recording diagnostic and interventional procedures (e.g., cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals).

Minimum Education and Experience

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Less than 1 year of Cath Laboratory experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• ACLS and BLS required.
• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (ARRT CI), or Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
