Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking an Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist for our Special Procedures Department. This PRN position offers various shifts, with participation in call and holiday rotations required.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing high-quality radiographic images.
• Collaborating as part of a team performing interventional procedures.
• Working under sterile conditions similar to the OR.
• Maintaining good relations with co-workers and patients, with a positive demeanor.
• Complying with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Participating in on-call coverage.
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed, following all regulations and policies.

Qualifications

Education: Vocational School; preferred Associate's Degree.

Experience: Less than 1 year in radiologic technology, experience with interventional procedures, hospital experience, customer service, vascular imaging.

Licenses and Certifications: BLS, CPR, ARRT (CI or CV), CRT, Radiologic Technologist license.
