Baptist Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our radiology department in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time day shift position working Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30am to 8:00pm. As a CT Technologist at Baptist, you will collaborate closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety, aligning with our mission to make hope, healing, and well-being accessible to all as an expression of God's love.

Responsibilities include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing patients for procedures (including administering IV contrast and patient positioning), providing explanations and education about the process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

As a CT Technologist, You Will Be Responsible For

• Performing high-quality CT procedures according to protocols and guidelines.
• Preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operating and maintaining CT equipment.
• Collaborating with radiologists to achieve optimal imaging results.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Adhering to safety and radiation standards.
• Educating patients about the CT process and answering questions.

Education Required: Vocational School

Preferred Education: Associate's Degree

Experience: Less than 1 year Radiologic Technologist Experience

License and Certification:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography (ARRT-CT) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or Florida Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
