Qualifications

• ARRT CT registration and BLS certification required or obtainable within the stated timeframe.
• State licensure as applicable at hire, plus ARRT registration is required on hire.
• Minimum 1–2 years CT experience in a hospital setting preferred for Level I.
• Level II requires 3+ years CT technologist experience and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure quality images with proper patient ID and prep.
• Perform exams per protocol and review images for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and keep patient/staff safe.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, and coordinate care with other providers.
• Instruct students and radiology staff on protocols and equipment use.
