Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) – Upon Hire, required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) within 60 days, required.
• IV competency within 90 days, required.
• Licensure in state of practice, upon hire, required.
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred for Colorado facilities.
• Level II requires 3+ years CT technologist experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and ensure all necessary anatomy is captured.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising patient care or exam quality.
• Provide patient education and address patient/family concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other care providers.
• Stay updated with CT technology and participate in continuing education and professional development.
