Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CT Technologist for Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado. The role requires maintaining ARRT credentials, BLS, IV competency, and state licensure where applicable.

Level II requires 3+ years of CT experience with strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety. Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, validating patient identity and orders, producing high-quality images, and educating staff and students.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT required at hire.
• BLS certification within 60 days required.
• IV competency within 90 days required.
• Colorado state licensure at hire required where applicable.
• 3 years CT experience preferred for Level II.
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred for Colorado facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images.
• Identify patients, verify orders, and prepare patients for exams.
• Perform CT exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy, ensure anatomical structures captured.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising care.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Coordinate care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated on CT tech advancements and participate in ongoing education.
• Instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols and equipment.
