Qualifications

• ARRT (R) and CT-specific ARRT certifications required upon hire
• BLS certification within 60 days required
• State licensure in practice area required upon hire
• IV competency within 90 days
• Level II role requires: 3+ years CT technologist experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images
• Verify patient identity, verify orders, and prepare exam
• Perform exams per department protocol and evaluate image quality
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and ensure a safe environment
• Complete studies within time expectations without compromising care
• Provide patient education and address concerns
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers
• Stay updated on CT tech advancements through continuing education
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology staff
