Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT registration required on hire.
• BLS within 60 days required.
• State licensure as applicable on hire.
• IV competency within 90 days required.
• Colorado care/fluoroscopy certification preferred for some sites.
• 1–2 years CT hospital experience preferred.
• Level II requires 3+ years CT technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical/technical CT functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Identify patient, verify orders, and prepare the exam.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy; ensure anatomy captured.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising care.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated on CT tech advancements through CE and training.
• Instruct students and junior radiology staff on protocols and positioning.
