Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT imaging and radiology procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will verify orders, identify patients, and document the procedure from start to finish, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification, BLS, and commitment to radiation safety. Weekend work and call coverage may be required as part of rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-accredited program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification; CT advanced registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify requests and orders with the Radiologist before performing the exam.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Review EMRs to obtain pertinent clinical history and document on requisitions.
• Operate CT and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures; maintain sterile technique.
