Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures with focus on safety and accuracy. You will operate CT scanners, manage patient care, and coordinate with Radiologists to ensure diagnostic quality.

Responsibilities include processing orders, documenting contrast use, and supporting invasive procedures. The role requires ARRT NM/CT credentials and BLS, with weekend shifts and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine; ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS required.
• Work Experience: N/A.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment with high proficiency.
• Verify orders, consult Radiologist for discrepancies, and document procedures.
• Identify patients using two identifiers; prepare and explain procedures to patients.
• Obtain complete medical history from patients and review EMR data for history.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and proper sterile technique.
• Rotate shifts including call back, holidays, and weekends; follow attendance policy.
• Operate radiology computer system for orders and charging; document contrast administration.
• Keep work area clean, stocked, and assist other medical personnel as needed.
