Qualifications

• Requires ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine.
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic or NMTCB program.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and consult Radiologist on discrepancies.
• Identify patients with two identifiers and prepare them for procedures with explanations.
• Review EMR history and records to determine pertinent clinical information for exams.
• Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Operate radiology information systems, document contrast administration, and ensure safety protocols.
