Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a CT Technologist I for the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. This full-time role involves performing CT imaging, preparing patients, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure high-quality results.

The position requires ARRT radiology certification (or NMTCB) with the CT registry expected within one year of hire and BLS certification. A sign-on bonus is available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB required; CT registry with ARRt within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and assist radiologists before performing exams.
• Explain procedures and prepare patients; obtain consent and document appropriately.
• Review patient history and integrate imaging results with clinical data.
• Perform CT scanning and support radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain safety standards and radiation protection for patients and staff.
