Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Radiologic/CT Technologist in Winston-Salem, NC. You will verify orders with radiologists, explain procedures to patients, and perform CT scans, ensuring quality images and safety standards.

You’ll interact with EMRs and assist in invasive procedures when needed, with on-call rotation and weekend shifts. Required qualifications include ARRT radiology certification, NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification, and CT registry (advanced) within 1 year of

• CT ARRT advanced registry within one year of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders with Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients and provide explanations of procedures.
• Interview patients for medical history and review EMRs for pertinent history.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and proper sterile technique.
• Rotate shifts including call backs, holidays and weekends.
