Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a CT Technologist for the main CT department. The role involves verifying orders, preparing patients, and performing CT scans with radiologist support. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

AR RT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire are required, along with BLS. Shift: full-time, 1st shift; location: Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC.

Formación

• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development; adapts care to patient age, culture, and needs.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification and ARRT CT registry within 12 months of hire; BLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Verify orders and assist radiologists before exams.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures; obtain consent and history.
• Administer IV contrast per protocols and monitor for reactions.
• Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures; maintain sterile technique.
• Maintain radiation safety and document in MAR; rotate shifts as required.
