Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners, verify orders, and collaborate with Radiology to provide safe, high-quality imaging. The position is full-time in Winston-Salem, NC, with a 36-hour weekly schedule, including rotating shifts and potential call-back.

Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are offered for eligible applicants. Requirements include ARRT Radiologic Technology and CT registry within one year of hire, ARRT/NMTCB certifications,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology and NMTCB Nuclear Medicine; CT registry within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and clarify discrepancies with the Radiologist.
• Identify patients and prepare them with explanations of the procedures.
• Review EMR for medical history and correlate results.
• Assume responsibility for the exam from start to report.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and report equipment issues.
