Job summary

The position is full-time, on-site, with a 40-hour work week. Responsibilities include preparing patients, obtaining histories, verifying orders, administering contrast, and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB required within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examine and verify orders with radiologist review and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and prepare them for procedures with clear explanations.
• Obtain comprehensive medical histories and review EMRs to correlate with exam results.
• Perform exams from start to finish and document results.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and record type/amount as needed.
• Assess image quality and consult radiologist; perform additional imaging or measurements as instructed.
• Provide basic patient care and respond to changes in patient condition; participate in code blue situations.
