Job summary

Atrium Health Davie Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to perform exams, prepare patients, and coordinate with Radiology staff. The role requires ARRT certification and BLS, with a commitment to safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a 36-hour workweek with alternating 12-hour shifts (11am-11pm) and a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. New graduates may receive $10,000, pending eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient, referring discrepancies to Radiologist.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and prepare them for procedures with explanations.
• Interview patients for medical history and document on requisitions; correlate results with exam performed.
• Operate CT scanner and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures, maintaining sterile technique.
• Maintain radiation safety for staff, patients, and family; report equipment issues.
• Rotate shifts, including call back, holidays, and weekends as required.
