Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT technologist for the Atrium Health Cleveland - CT department. This full‑time role involves performing CT exams, preparing patients, administering IV contrast per protocol, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure high image quality and patient safety.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT certification in Radiology, BLS, and demonstrate strong knowledge of growth and development principles to support diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles relevant to patient care.
• Competent in presenting procedural explanations and collecting patient history.
• Familiar with EMR review for relevant clinical information.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with radiologist before performing exam.
• Identify patients and prepare them for procedures with explanations.
• Interpret medical history and correlate results with exam performed.
• Oversee exam from start to dictated results.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast as required by protocol.
• Ensure image quality and safety standards, consult radiologist as needed.
• Provide basic patient care and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Perform CT scanning and support radiologist/PA during procedures.
