Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina is seeking a CT technologist to perform CT scanning, verify orders with radiologists, and prepare patients for imaging. The role requires ARRT CT registry within one year of hire and BLS certification, with a 40-hour workweek on-site.

You will rotate shifts across Cleveland Imaging locations, maintaining strict radiation safety and collaborating with Radiology staff to ensure accurate diagnostics.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required.
• BLS required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders with Radiologist review before performing exams.
• Identify patients and prepare them for procedures with explanations and proper documentation.
• Review medical histories and correlate exam data with laboratory results.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and manage equipment and supplies safely.
• Rotate shifts including call back, holidays, and weekends as needed.
