Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders; refers to Radiologist when needed.
• Identify patients and prepare them for CT procedures with explanations.
• Interview and document medical history; review EMR for pertinent data.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and report equipment issues.
