Job summary

Atrium Health in Macon, GA is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT imaging with emphasis on safety and accuracy. You will operate CT equipment, prepare patients, and work under supervision to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires ARRT Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification and CT registry within one year, plus BLS. Expect a 40-hour week, 11:00 AM–9:30 PM shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiology or NMTCB nuclear medicine certification; ARRT CT registry within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and confirm with Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; prepare patients and document on worksheets.
• Review medical histories from EMR and correlate results with exam performed.
• Take responsibility for exam from start to finish and dictate results.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast per protocol; record type and amount as needed.
• Evaluate image quality and consult Radiologist for abnormalities; perform additional reconstructions.
