Atrium Health Floyd Polk Medical Center in Cedartown, GA seeks a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform CT scanning, administer contrast per protocol, and coordinate with Radiologists during examinations.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and CT registry within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of growth and development for patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders for each patient.
• Verifies and discusses orders with Radiologist before exam.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures clearly.
• Prepare patients for procedures and document on worksheets.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and proper sterile technique.
• Document contrast administration and ensure equipment is functioning safely.
