Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center in Macon, Georgia, seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT image acquisition, processing, and archiving under indirect supervision. You will care for patients in the CT suite and assist radiologists as needed.

Requirements include ARRT CT registry and ARRT registration eligibility. Weekend schedule is Fri–Sun, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with a 36-hour work week and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Graduate of AMA, JRC or Regionally Accredited approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT CT registry is required per work instruction EMP 8.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT image acquisition, processing, submission for interpretation, and archiving.
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and obtain history.
• Position patient to demonstrate cross-sectional anatomy per CT protocols.
• Assist radiologists and roulines in the CT department.
