Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to join the Imaging team. This role focuses on performing CT scans and radiographic procedures with attention to safety and quality, in a high-volume, patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT CT certification, Texas license, and an accredited radiology program; previous CT experience is preferred. You will participate in rotating call and maintain state-of-the-art imaging standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an education program in radiology accredited by JRCERT or AMA approved.
• Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• ARRT CT certification within six months of CT assignment.
• Texas license as Medical Radiologic Technologist.
• Post-primary CT certification within six months of CT assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed CT procedures and document findings.
• Demonstrate knowledge of CT equipment and anatomy.
• Relay relevant patient information to physicians.
• Apply radiation safety principles to minimize risk.
• Participate in rotating call schedule.
• Perform other department duties as needed.
• Engage in training and in-services.
