Job summary

St. David's South Austin Medical Center, Bastrop FSED PRN, seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures per ARRT standards and hospital policies. You will optimize radiation use and ensure patient safety and quality imaging.

Requirements include AMA-approved radiologic technology education; CT coursework or CEUs; ARRT certification and BLS. Prior CT experience is preferred; PRN schedule offered at a leading Texas hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• CT curriculum covering 3 semester hours of Sectional Anatomy; or 16 hours post graduate CEU's Cross Sectional Anatomy.
• One year experience performing CT procedures is preferred.
• Post-primary CT certification within 1 year of CT assignment; and ARRT certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with ARRT standards and hospital policies.
• Optimize radiation use following Image Gently and Image Wisely guidelines.
• Maintain patient safety, positioning, and radiographic technique.

Education

American Medical Association approved program in Radiologic Technology; CT curriculum/CEU requirements
