St. David's Round Rock Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist PRN to perform CT scans and radiologic exams following ARRT, ACR, and Texas Medical Board standards, ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging.

The role requires analyzing patient history and adjusting protocols to deliver high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists. Ideal candidates have MRT certification, ARRT CT, BLS, and Texas radiology experience; preferred one year radiology and CT tech experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology approved by the AMA.
• Current MRT certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• ARRT Radiology certification (R).
• ARRT CT certification (CT) within 90 days of CT assignment.
• BLS certification per St. David's Healthcare policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and x-rays according to ARRT, ACR, and Texas Medical Board standards.
• Verify written orders match requisition prior to performing exam.
• Follow appropriate protocol for the exam ordered.
• Administer contrast material using proper technique.
• Enter appropriate charges and review for accuracy.
• Correlate patient history with procedure for radiologist review.
• Manage patient flow to prioritize exams and maintain efficiency.
