Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center in Texas is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to join the Imaging department. You will perform CT procedures, ensure accurate documentation, and support patient care across the radiology service line.

The role requires ARRT CT and ARRT radiography credentials, TMB CMRT certification, and 1–2 years CT experience. A strong commitment to safety and teamwork is essential in this 460+ bed hospital system.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (R) certification and post-primary CT certification.
• 1–2 years CT experience preferred.
• TMB CMRT certification.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed CT Computed Tomographic procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in CT scan equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Document findings on film or in writing.
• Relay relevant patient information to physicians.
• Apply radiation safety principles to minimize risk.
• Participate in rotating call schedule.
• Work in other areas of the department as needed.
