Job summary

UAB Medicine is expanding its Emergency Department at UAB Hospital and is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures under radiologist supervision. Candidates must graduate from an ARRT-accepted Radiography program, hold ARRT RT (R) or NMTCB certification, and obtain CT designation within a year, with BLS required within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT-accepted Radiography program.
• One year of general radiography experience preferred.
• Currently registered as RT (R) with ARRT or NMTCB certified.
• Within 1 year of hire, obtain CT designation (ARRT or NMTCB).
• BLS certification from AHA required or obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities
