Job summary

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to perform CT exams, verify orders, and assist Radiologists. You will prepare patients, document medical histories, and ensure accurate imaging while following radiation safety protocols.

Eligible candidates will have ARRT-recognized radiologic training, BLS, and experience with CT scanners; you will work with EMR systems and PACS in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from ARRT-recognized radiologic technology program.
• Radiology technologist licensed/eligible with BLS certification.
• Experience operating CT scanners and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and perform CT exams under Radiologist supervision.
• Prepare patients, obtain histories, explain procedures, and document in records.
• Maintain radiation safety, calibrate equipment, and assist in emergencies as needed.
