Job summary

107 The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and ensure safe imaging procedures. You will verify orders, coordinate with Radiology, and maintain strict safety standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include preparing contrast material, documenting usage, and supporting radiologists during procedures. ARRT/NMTCB certification and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Education Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification with CT registry within one year.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment per department protocols.
• Verify orders, coordinate with Radiologist, and document procedures.
• Prepare and explain procedures to patients; obtain histories.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and record usage.
• Maintain radiation safety and sterile techniques; assist in emergencies.
