Qualifications

• Must meet all required elements of competency checklists for advancement level.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT required.
• BLS Required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and refer questions to Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients with two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Review EMR for medical history and correlate history with exam.
• Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and report equipment issues.
• Operate radiology computer system and document contrast administration.
• Rotate shifts including call back, holidays and weekends.
