Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist for Atrium Health Anson in North Carolina. You will examine orders, verify patient information, and assist Radiologists during exams including CT scanning, with attention to safety and documentation.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, obtaining histories, and maintaining image quality while following radiation safety protocols and hospital policies. PRN shifts, not benefits-eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT scanning within one year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders for each patient.
• Refer and question orders to Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures briefly.
• Prepare patients with full explanations and document on worksheets.
• Interviews patients for medical history and reviews EMR history.

Education

Two-year AMA Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program

ARRT Radiology and CT registry (within 1 year of hire)
