Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist for a full-time role at Cobb Hospital in Georgia. The position emphasizes delivering safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience within a collaborative care team.

Responsibilities include performing CT exams, maintaining diagnostic image quality, and ensuring patient comfort and safety while following regulatory requirements and ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• Experience in radiology required.
• Proven ability to deliver quality diagnostic images.
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department guidelines and maintain image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and minimize radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Prepare and disinfect rooms, report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout visits.
• Administer contrast per protocol using sterile technique when needed.
• Position patients, apply markers and shielding as indicated.
• Review and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers and retrievals.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies; restock life-support supplies.
• Maintain daily workflows and support department operations and compliance.
