Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and apply ALARA principles for dose management.
• Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast as needed and manage venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and restock supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain workflow and compliance.
