Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging with a focus on patient safety and diagnostic quality. The role requires completing an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certifications, including ARRT-CT, with at least 1 year radiology experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining ALARA dose, preparing patients, and documenting exams in RIS/PACS while providing compassionate patient care and teamwork within the radiology department.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology preferred.
ARRT certification required: ARRT-R; ARRT-CT; BLS from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Perform CT procedures following department guidelines and keep dose as low as reasonably achievable.
Operate imaging equipment safely and ensure diagnostic quality.
Prepare and position patients; verify orders and two identifiers before exams.
Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions.
Complete documentation and ensure studies are finalized in RIS/PACS.
Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies as needed.
