Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT Technologist for Atrium Health Cabarrus in North Carolina. This full-time position involves performing CT scans, preparing patients, and coordinating with Radiologists to ensure quality exams. The role requires ARRT certification and BLS, with a sign-on bonus eligible and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NM Technology program.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with CT registry within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each patient.
• Refer and question orders to Radiologist before performing exam.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for the exam.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and proper sterile technique.
• Rotate shifts and adhere to attendance policies.
