Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment per departmental protocols.
• Verify orders with Radiologist and contact provider for discrepancies.
• Prepare patients and document medical history; explain procedures.
• Administer IV contrast and document type/amount per protocol.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and clean work area.
• Rotate shifts, including call back, holidays and weekends.
