Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Refers and questions orders to the Radiologist before performing exam.
• Contacts ordering provider when there are discrepancies.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Prepares patients with full explanation and documents on worksheets.
• Performs CT scanning and assists Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Maintains radiation safety and reports equipment issues.
• Rotates shifts including call back, holidays, and weekends.
