Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures, prepare patients, and document results. You will operate CT scanners, manage contrast administration, and ensure patient safety while collaborating with Radiology staff in Concord, NC.

ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with ARRT CT registry within one year of hire is required, along with BLS. This role involves shift rotations and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and coordinate with Radiologist
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures
• Collect medical history from EMR and document on requisitions
• Perform CT scans from start to finish and prepare dictated results
• Administer IV contrast per protocols and record details
• Assess image quality and consult Radiologist for discrepancies
• Provide basic patient care and support during emergencies
• Operate radiology computer systems and document contrast administration
• Maintain a clean, stocked work area and assist anesthesia when needed
