Job summary

MetroHealth's Radiology Department in Cleveland is seeking a qualified CT Technologist to perform CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, and support patient scheduling within a collaborative care team.

The role requires ARRT certification, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification with credential upgrade within a year. Shifts are Days/Evenings on a 4x10hr schedule, with a biweekly 80-hour arrangement and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Works well both independently and as part of the CT Team.
