HCA Florida JFK North Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, ensure high-quality imaging, and maintain ALARA standards while providing compassionate patient care. The role requires ARRT certification, Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days, and 1–3 years of CT experience.

You will operate radiology equipment, collaborate with the radiology team, and support patient-centered imaging services.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Fingerprint required for this role.
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
• 1–3 years of CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures applying ionizing radiation to detect pathology.
• Regulate and operate radiology equipment; expose and develop x-ray films.
• Maintain ALARA standards and safety during procedures.
• Establish and maintain professional rapport with staff and medical teams.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Radiology Director or Radiology Supervisor, performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops and organizes films. Operates equipment safely and maintains ALARA standards while performing all types of procedures within the scope of the A.R. R.T. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Other-Fingerprint Required
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• 1-3 years of CT experience preferred
