Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform ionizing radiation imaging procedures and produce high-quality radiographs for radiologists. You will operate CT equipment, ensure patient safety, and work with the Imaging team to deliver accurate results.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology or in the treatment of disease. Operates all the equipment utilized within the department, and develops and organizes films for presentation to the radiologist. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow co-workers, other departments, and Medical Staff. Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Vocational School Graduate
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography, or (ARRT-R) Radiography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• 1 year of experience required

About the Facility

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204‑bed facility in Palm Beach County. We offer preventative and elective programs and surgeries. We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. We have emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full‑service Children’s Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology. The hospital is located on a 94‑acre campus.
