Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a CT/Radiologic Technologist (Multi-modality Tech) to perform radiography and CT procedures with adherence to imaging policies. You will support patient care with compassionate interactions among patients, families and clinicians.

Minimum 1–2 years CT experience required; ARRT-CT within 1 year; RT/Radiography credentials and a vocational/associate/bachelor degree are required.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • ARRT-CT certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
  • ARRT-R Radiography certification required
  • RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential
  • Vocational School Graduate, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree required

Responsibilities

  • Perform Radiologic and CT procedures according to imaging policies and protocols
  • Provide care and interact positively with patients, families, physicians and other staff
  • Contribute to department operations in alignment with HCA mission and values

This position is located at the HCA Florida Park West Free Standing Emergency Department (6477 103rd Street, Jacksonville FL 32210). The position shift is Sunday-Monday-Tuesday from 7pm to 7a. You must have minimum of 1 to 2 years of CT experience.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The CT/Radiologic Technologist (aka Multi-modality Technologist) performs Radiologic and Computed Tomography procedures utilizing imaging techniques in accordance with Medical Imaging policies and protocols.

Technologists provide care in a manner that promotes positive interactions with patients, family members, physicians, other hospital departments, and staff in accordance with HCA mission and values.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
  • (ARRT-R) Radiography Rad Tech Ct Tech
  • (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
  • Vocational School Graduate, Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree Required
