Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital, located in Orange Park, FL, is seeking a CT Technologist to perform imaging procedures and support a busy radiology department. The role involves weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday, 7pm–7:30am) with additional PRN opportunities for flexibility.

Qualifications include completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technologist program and ARRT licensing (R) with Florida, plus CT certification within 12 months of start.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Accredited Radiologic Technologist program with a Certificate, Associate, or Bachelor degree required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • ARRT (R) Florida General Radiographer License.
  • ARRT (CT) must be obtained within 12 months of employment start date and completion of CT cross training program.
  • (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols, policy, procedures, and Medical Staff guidelines.
  • Maintains equipment in proper working conditions. Promptly reports any malfunctions to service provider and imaging leadership.
  • Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
  • Supports and protects the rights of each patient served, treats each patient with dignity and care, and maintains patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Regulates the equipment used to produce and process images.
  • Assists in the daily operation of the CT and Radiology department.
  • Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff.

Full-time Shift is Friday-Saturday-Sunday 7pm to 730pm, weekends only.

We also have PRN positions available if you need a more flexible schedule.

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is located outside of Jacksonville FL in the suburb of Orange Park FL and is on Kingsley Avenue.

Job Summary And Qualifications
