Job summary

HCA Florida JFK North Hospital in West Palm Beach is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using CT equipment for a diverse patient population. You will ensure patient safety, prep patients, administer contrast when required, and maintain high quality image documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging.
• Current Florida DOH license (General Radiographer) and ARRT(CT) registration, or registry-eligible with ability to obtain within 6 months.

• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Imaging Procedures: perform CT imaging procedures accurately.
• Patient Care: ensure patient comfort and safety during exams.
• Technical Operations: operate CT equipment and review images.
• Safety & Compliance: follow ALARA principles and institutional policies.
• Collaboration: coordinate with radiology team and physicians.

Job Summary And Qualifications

CT Technologists operateCT equipment to produce diagnostic images for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics. Key responsibilities include preparing patients, administering contrast, ensuring ALARA radiation safety, and maintaining documentation.

Position requires a Florida Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT(CT) certification (or eligible) with experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Required Qualifications & Skills
