Starting Salary: $32.50+ per hour, based on experience. Shift differential: $4.00. Weekend differential: $3.00.
Schedule: 10‑hour shift from 8:30pm to 7am every 5th weekend.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as a customer advocate and strive to better meet the needs of patients and/or families. Provide courteous, attentive, conscientious service and respond quickly to parent requests and concerns.
- Provide appropriate education and information to patients and/or families.
- Serve as a resource: demonstrate advanced competence in specific knowledge, skills and behaviors; communicate with team members and contribute to their growth by sharing knowledge, experience, and skills.
- Process improvement: participate in improving organizational performance and quality through recommending areas or approaches for improvement, performing new procedures, collecting data, and providing input to department discussions.
- Anticipate and identify and recommend areas for process/system improvement; work with appropriate personnel to implement agreed upon changes and evaluate improvement initiatives.
- Patient care – procedures and exams: prepare patients, parents, and/or families for procedures/examinations physically and/or psychologically, conduct procedures/examinations following protocols and guidelines as directed, obtain, review, and facilitate exchange of patient information.
- Communication – patient: communicate with patients, families, and employees in a courteous manner; respond promptly to requests; provide information concerning admitted, referred, transferred, or discharged patients; provide emotional support to families as needed.
- X‑ray: provide overnight backup coverage for X‑ray; function as an imaging technologist in computed tomography imaging; facilitate patient care delivery and coordinate effective communication within the medical center.
Job Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
- Registered ARRT (R) or eligible Registered ARRT (CT) within 24 months of hire.
- Licensed by Ohio Department of Health within 30 days of eligibility.
