Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Act as a customer advocate for patients and families, providing courteous, attentive service.
  • Respond promptly to parent requests and concerns; deliver appropriate education and information.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and employees in a courteous manner and provide emotional support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, guidelines, regulations, and accreditation standards; maintain CCHMC Core Standards.
  • Maintain organized and safe work areas for employees, patients, and families.
  • Prepare patients and families for procedures or examinations physically and psychologically.
  • Conduct procedures or examinations following protocols and guidelines.
  • Retrieve, review, and facilitate the exchange of patient information.
  • Maintain professional licensing and certification; engage in continuing education and mandatory training.
  • Apply acquired knowledge to improve personal work and departmental practices; participate in professional committees.
Job Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
  • 0+ years of work experience in a related discipline.
  • Registered ARRT (R) or eligible to become registered within 6 months of hire.
  • Licensed by the Ohio Department of Health within 30 days of eligibility.
  • Location: Burnet Campus.
  • Schedule: Full‑time, rotating shift.
  • Department: Radiography; Employee Status: Regular FTE 0.8; Weekly Hours: 32.
  • Annualized pay range: $25.82 – $32.28 (FTE 0.8).
