Job description

Starting Salary: $32.50+ per hour (based on experience) + $4.00 shift differential + $3.00 weekend differential.

Job Responsibilities
  • Customer Service – Patient: act as a customer advocate, strive to better meet the needs of patients and families, respond quickly to parent requests and concerns, provide appropriate education/information.
  • Serve as a Resource: demonstrate advanced competence in specific knowledge, skills and behaviors; effectively communicate with team members and contribute to their growth by sharing knowledge, experience, and skills; stay abreast of changes in key systems.
  • Process Improvement: participate in improving/developing organizational and departmental performance/quality by recommending areas or approaches for improvement activities, performing new procedures, collecting data and providing input to department discussions; anticipate and recommend areas for process/system improvement; work with appropriate personnel to implement agreed upon changes; participate in evaluation of improvement initiatives/activities.
  • Patient Care – Procedures and Exams: prepare patients, parents, and/or families for procedures/examinations physically and/or psychologically; conduct procedures/examinations following protocol/guidelines as directed; obtain, review, bring together, and/or facilitate the exchange of patient information.
  • Communication – Patient: communicate with patients, families and employees in a courteous manner; respond promptly to requests; provide information concerning patients that are admitted, referred, transferred or discharged; provide emotional support to families as needed.
  • Function as an imaging technologist in the field of computed tomography imaging, and facilitate patient care delivery and effective communication within the medical center dedicated to pediatric patients.
  • Work closely with team members of the Radiology Department and other collaborating departments throughout hospital and outpatient sites.
Job Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or Equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Registered ARRT (R) or eligible, preferred experience of 1+ year as a Radiologic Technologist; new grads welcome but must be available for 12‑weeks full‑time training.
  • Registered ARRT (CT) within 24 months of hire; licensed by Ohio Department of Health within 30 days of eligibility.
Employment Details

Location: Burnet Campus. Schedule: Part time, Shift Rotating. Employment type: Stand By FTE 0 weekly hours.

Salary: Annualized pay may vary based on FTE status $32.47 – $41.40.
