Job summary

Plan A Health in Lithonia, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and provide a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT exams, ensure safety, manage contrast administration, and document results in RIS/PACS.

The ideal candidate has ARRT-CT and BLS certifications, at least 1 year of radiology experience, and a solid commitment to infection control and patient care. Competitive pay and relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least 1 year of radiology experience.
• Certifications including ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Performing CT procedures following department guidelines to capture diagnostic images.
• Operating imaging equipment independently, maintaining safety and quality standards, and adjusting techniques to minimize radiation exposure.
• Ensuring cleanliness, infection control, and equipment maintenance.
• Gathering clinical history, verifying orders, and screening patients for contraindications.
• Explaining procedures using AIDET, addressing patient questions, and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Administering contrast, positioning patients, and applying shielding and immobilization as needed.
• Reviewing images for quality, repeating exams if necessary, and documenting accurately in RIS/PACS.
• Monitoring patient conditions, responding to emergencies, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Supporting departmental workflows, complying with regulations, and collaborating with team members.
