Job summary

Plan A Health seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience in a fast-paced radiology department in Norcross, GA. You will perform CT procedures per department protocols, optimize image quality while minimizing dose, and manage RIS/PACS records while ensuring patient safety and comfort using effective communication (AIDET).

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
  • Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Performing CT procedures following department protocols, capturing diagnostic images with technical expertise.
  • Operating imaging equipment safely, adjusting techniques to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation dose.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and functionality of equipment, reporting issues promptly.
  • Gathering clinical history, verifying orders, and ensuring patient safety and comfort using effective communication (AIDET).
  • Administering contrast agents, positioning patients correctly, and ensuring images meet diagnostic standards.
  • Documenting procedures accurately, managing digital records in RIS/PACS, and supporting department workflow.
  • Responding to emergencies, maintaining safety protocols, and supporting operational and regulatory compliance.
